Although the name might suggest a connection with chemistry, don't expect anything more than a container with a funnel. The container made of durable borosilicate glass is separated by a wooden handle, which is wrapped with a leather cord.

A special filtration paper is placed in the narrowest part, through which the resulting liquid makes its way to the bottom section.
